What a media buyer actually does all day

Far less exciting than the job title suggests, and that is the point.

Morning

Check yesterday against the day before across every account. Anything sharply off gets opened before anything else happens. Clear disapprovals. Read search terms on the campaigns that spent most.

Middle of the day

Budget moves toward what is converting. Negatives added. Creative requests briefed or reviewed. Client messages answered.

Afternoon

The deliberate work: a structure change on one account, a feed rewrite on another, a plan written for a third.

What is not in there

Constant bid adjustment. That is what automation took over, and it freed the time for the parts that actually needed a person.
