The landing page checklist for paid traffic

You can fix the account all you like. The page is where the click either becomes an order or does not.

  1. Does it answer the search? If the query was specific and the page is a category, you made the buyer work.
  2. Price visible without scrolling. Hiding it costs more clicks than it saves.
  3. Shipping cost and time stated early. The single biggest cause of abandoned carts, and a policy requirement besides.
  4. Returns terms findable. Buyers check. Reviewers check too.
  5. Mobile speed. Most paid traffic is mobile. Slow pages lose buyers you already paid for.
  6. One clear action. Competing buttons split attention and conversions.
  7. Real product photography. Supplier images that appear on fifty other stores do not build trust.
  8. Stock status honest. Advertising something unavailable is wasted spend and a review risk.
  9. Proof that is actually yours. Borrowed reviews are worse than no reviews.
Every one of these is cheaper to fix than the equivalent gain from bidding work.
