What the number does not show
Price is the easy part to compare. The parts that actually decide whether the relationship works:
- Lock-in. A six-month term means six months of invoices whether or not it works.
- Who owns the account. If campaigns live in the agency's account, leaving means starting from zero.
- Who does the work. Ask who is actually in the account and how many others they run that week.
- Markup on media. If they pay Google with their card and bill you, you never see the real number.
